By downloading or using Photo FaceFinder on any platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and TGSane Technologies, the developer of Photo FaceFinder . These Terms apply equally to Photo FaceFinder for iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Photo FaceFinder for Mac (collectively, "the App" or "the Apps") — both share the same underlying engine and the same terms. Photo FaceFinder does not require you to create an account on either platform — your use of the app itself confirms your acceptance of these Terms and of any future updates to them.
How the App Works
How the App Works
Photo FaceFinder is an on-device photo organization app, available for iOS/iPadOS and macOS. With your permission, it reads the photos already in your Photos library and performs face detection, face grouping, and duplicate-photo detection entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework and a Core ML model bundled inside the app — the same engine on both platforms. The app has no account system and no backend server, on either platform — your photos and any data derived from them (such as face embeddings or duplicate-photo hashes) are never uploaded anywhere. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download and use Photo FaceFinder (iOS and/or Mac) for your personal photo organization purposes, subject to your chosen plan (Free or Pro) and these Terms. A separate purchase or subscription may be required on each platform, per Apple's App Store rules — Pro on one platform does not automatically unlock Pro on the other unless Apple's cross-platform entitlement rules apply to your purchase.

You retain full ownership of every photo in your library. Photo FaceFinder does not upload, copy, or transmit your photos anywhere, on any platform — it only reads them locally on your device, with your permission, to provide face grouping, search, and duplicate-detection features directly within the app. We do not access, receive, or store your photos on any server, and we do not use them for any purpose other than displaying results back to you on your own device.

Reverse engineering
You may not decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the app.

Unauthorized redistribution
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the app or its underlying code.

You may not use the app to process photos or content you do not have the right to use, or in a way that violates applicable law.

Abuse of the service
You may not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or reverse engineer the app's normal operation.
Subscriptions & Billing

Photo FaceFinder offers a free tier and an optional Pro subscription that unlocks additional features, on both iOS and Mac. Pro is billed and managed entirely through Apple's App Store using StoreKit, at the interval and price shown at the time of purchase, and renews automatically unless cancelled. You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time via your Apple ID → Subscriptions (in Settings on iPhone/iPad, or in the App Store app on Mac); cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not operate our own billing system and have no ability to process refunds directly — refund requests are handled by Apple per their policies, regardless of which platform you purchased on.

Photo FaceFinder is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
We do not guarantee that face detection, face grouping, or duplicate-detection results will be 100% accurate, that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that it will meet every individual requirement. You use the app at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Photo FaceFinder and TGSane Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes are reflected by revising the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of Photo FaceFinder after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. The current version is always available at photofacefinder.com/terms-and-conditions.
Governing Law
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
